How can a year pass so quickly?

Friends gained and lost, mood swings a plenty, uprooting and moving across the country again, changes in jobs, getting another year older and that tiny bit wiser, experiencing a lot I had never experienced before. 2004 was one of the most hectic in my life, and the most confsed, I don't think I'd change a thing about it though. I may have been near breaking point part way into the year and almost lost my faith in most of humanity but now I finally have somewhere I can call my home and a group of people I can see with confidence are my friends, it has been many, many years since I could last do that.

Another Christmas, birthday and New Year have just gone by, except this year I actually did things and felt like I belonged. I had a wonderful quiet christmas with Paul and John, there was mostly zombiefied staring at the TV, but I cooked! There was food and company and there was no pressure for it to be christmas, it was just a nice, comfortable day. Paul and I had a day of wandering around town on my birthday, I bought myself a dress that makes me feel sexy to make up for my being a whole year older and we had an utterly relaxed quiet day about town just being silly, we then met up with many other portsmouth type peoples (thanks for turning up guys, you really did make my birthday) and went to see The Firebird at the theatre and then had a couple of drinks in the pub. New Years eve was mostly spent drinking, playing beat 'em ups and dance mat games on the PS2 and playing Chez Goth, we even managed to get Andy on the dance mat again which is always entertaining (thanks for the amusement hun!) And New Years day and the day after mostly entailed the geekery of watching the entirity of Escaflowne (sooooo good!) Nothing special to most, but to me it was amazing (simple things to please a simple soul)

I shan't ramble much more for now, I may bother you all with more later though :P
