Thanksgiving...
Well, I'm here in Florida, typing on my Mom's computer at 1AM Eastern Time. We've been prepping stuff for the Thanksgiving feast. We probably won't sleep long before we get up and start cooking. Why can't we just get up at noon and eat later in the day...why I ask? Anyways, I haven't been sleeping well lately anyway, so might as well just stay awake. It's a little nice to be away from the everyday stuff but I'm not finding as much joy with the family as I thought I would.
I just found out my Bro's wife had a warrent for her arrest for the last 7 years and she was just arrested yesterday. That leaves my bro alone with her child and them being uncertain of what happens next. Apparently she'll be in jail for at least 60 days until she is extradighted (sp?) to Colorado where she committed some kind of fraud...don't know the details. Well, now my parents face the possibility of having to help with a 3rd child, not theirs. Keep fingers crossed that things work out.
Anyways, hopefully the rest of the weekend will be better. I'm hoping things aren't stressful tomorrow and we can just sit down and enjoy a day of family. Everyone have the best weekend they can have...we certainly all need it!
