Playin' A Stoner, 'Script Drugs, and Birthday Weeshes

Last night I was at work, when these two cute guys sat in my section. As soon as I went over and saw their faces, I knew that they were completely stoned out of their minds, which made me smile. One ordered a Mountain Dew, while the other ordered a sweet tea.

Me: Do you want lemon in your tea?
Stoney: [slow, stoner tone] Well... is it like... *really* sweet?
Me: Well - -
Stoney: Because if it's not really sweet, I might just want water.
Me: Well, I think it's pretty sweet.
Stoney: You do? Okay.
Me: How about I bring you the tea, and then you can let me know?
Stoney: Okay!

So I go and get their drinks and drop them off, then go relay the funny dialogue to Chelsea and Jerricha. Chelsea smiled and kind of rolled her eyes before saying, "Yeah, I know them, they're from Garfield's," (where she also works).

I went back by their table and the guy stopped me and said, "This tea is PERFECT!" in all seriousness, to which I replied, "Awesome!" before walking off.

Chelsea then told Jerricha and I that the tea-drinkin' guy's name was Damon, so Jerricha and I went over to the table, I asked if they needed refills, which they didn't, and Jerricha went on to do this...

Jerricha: Damon! Hey! Do you remember me?
Damon: No I'm sorry, I don't.
Jerricha: You don't remember me?
Damon: No... I'm sorry...
Jerricha: I thought we shared something special!!

She then tramped off "angrily," and we could hear his friend busting up in laughter after it happened. It was so freaking hilarious! She, myself and Chelsea then went back to the table, where Jerricha told him she was just joking because Chelsea had told us who they were, which made them both uproariously laugh some more.

Oh, good times, good times.

In other news, I went to the doctor's office last Monday to talk about stress and anxiety. Because, believe it or not, chittlins, I stress about a lot of random things in my brain, while often exuding an easy going, free-spirited nature. The doctor asked me some questions and recommended putting me on Paxil, which I said, "Isn't that for depression? Because I'm not depressed, just stressed." She told me that Paxil is for depression, but also for anxiety and stress... Well who knew?

So I got my 'script filled at Wal-Mart ($4 for a month's supply, I can dig it), and now I'm taking one a day. I haven't really noticed a change, at least that I can tell, but the doc said it could take 2-6 weeks before I do, so who knows. So hopefully, less stress for me and my fine ass.

Weren't those last two paragraphs like reading an ad for Paxil?

I did some research last night for a trip to Vegas, and I can get a flight to Ontario, California (where Robert said to fly into so he could pick me up) for $212, and a hotel in Vegas for $62/night (on the strip, mmk?), which is much, much less than what I was anticipating on spending. So now all I need is to find out how much them Spice Girls is gon' be chargin' for tickets, and I can get my finances in order and try to get it all worked out. Here's hoping for the best!

Lastly, I put my application in at a certain little place last night that I've been wanting to apply at for awhile, but haven't due to the fact that somebody was working there who I don't dig on so much, and who doesn't dig me. But now that person has left that place, and so I took it upon myself to put in an application. I'm hoping I can get on there and go to three days a week at Pondo (days when my new boss isn't working, obviously).

That's all for now, hope you're all in good graces and feeling ubersexy. Chahz!

Also - one last thing, happy birthday today to Mr. Robbie Rob, and happy birthday tomorrow to my homegirl, Amy Loohoo! Be sure to head on over to their MySpace pages and give 'em your birthday lovins'. I love these two and they mean the world to me, so I hope they get all they're wanting for their special days. Mwah mwah mwah! Love you guys!
