please- back off!blackfaerieOctober 23 2007, 04:30:40 UTC
what is wrong with you? there is NO need to attack her like that- have you ever been in a car accident? I had to drop out of college for a quarter because I couldnt' sit through my two hour ART class, no way I could have run around after toddlers! And that was when I was rear-ended going 10mph, and he was going 35. Not even THAT serious.
And if you knew anything about ASL you'd know that spelling isn't actually the most important part because 1- you don't finger spell most of the time, and 2- most deaf people can't spell as well as hearing people. Secondly- the grammer of the English language is much different from the grammer syntax of ASL.
Also, insurance is there for when people can't work- i'm sure you'll be very glad of that when you need it someday, just as i'm sure she is since she needs to be able to pay for a place to live, food, and other necessities. And I very highly doubt that she would have lost that job quickly, especially since they were looking to give her a raise and she has had a passion for working with children for quite a long time now.
So I don't know WHY you're choosing to attack her on this, but you really shouldn't. Show some compassion for people who are going through some tough transition times in their life.

I have known her for quite a few years now, and yeah she's had a lot of problems, but that doesn't mean that they're always her fault! I've gone through some times where absolutely nothing in my life goes right, and I feel like shit and that's when I need people to be there for me and I'm sure that's what she needs too. We're still young, not everything has to be figured out yet. What's pitiful is people like you who have to tear someone down further when they're already going through a rough time. I'm not going to respond any further to comments that you make- so don't waste yours or anyone elses time posting any.
