Hackers!!
Okay, So Joe left this morning for Montana. I was just playing WoW when all of a sudden the gaming window closed, and on my main computer screen all of these files were being OPEND! like someone had remote acess to my PC. They startred looking thourh files and my pictures, than they were checking our internect connection and all this stuff.
I started to think OH maybe Joe is already to his hotel and he is trying to find a file or something. Cuz he has done that before done remote access to one of our PC's at home. Usually he calls me and tells me first and usually he uses HIS computer to do it. Anyways so I call him right away. And hes like Um NOO I am driving. so I start immeadetly closing all of the windows whomever it was doing this and trying to get to shutdown. They kept opening more and more things. Joe was like OKay go and turn of ALL of the computers in the house and dont get back on them untill I get home.
A few weeks ago somoene had gotten into Joe's computer and downloaded a ton of crap onto it, Joe traced it back to the person who was doing it cuz he is smart like that, and it was somone in FRANCE! sure enough they had downloaded all of these french movies and songs. So Joe is pretty sure it is the same peopole hacking into our computers. SO he had me turn off all of our four main computers including our server in the garage.
I was like great this sucks the ONE time you are gone for three days and I'm home alone I have NO computer and internet to use. ANd than he told me I could use my lap top and just connect the internet directly up to the box instead of connecting to our server remotley.
SO FEW I still have a computer to use but I am SOO pissed that someone is out there going through OUR personal stuff it REALLY creeps me out. Joe is hoping that we caought it in time that they havent changed any settings or anything like that. SO when he gets back he is going to get back at them and make sure they can never get into our computers again!
Sooo yeah. I better get back on WoW and let my guild members know that our website will be down for awhile.
This REALLY sucks, and it kinda added to my paranoia of being home alone. its almost like someone has broken into my house and gone through my personal things, just via the internet. REALLLLY creepy!!
