Yesterday I spent the day in Portland
-Ate at a French restaurant (had a quiche)
-Nordstroms, didn't buy anything
-Abercrombie and Fitch, didn't buy anything
-Comic book convention... Yes, I know, I went with Ellie. Although I felt really out of place, it wasn't that bad. Except that people who read comic books are - in general - smelly, so imagine them all in a crowded, hot room; and some of the "art" was just gross. But Ellie met some of her favorite artists, so I'm glad.
-Portland Outdoor Store. I loved it. My mommy is going to buy some Luchese cowboy boots. It made me sad that I can't wear cowboy boots, I have a high instep.
-Desert at a cafe, I had tiramisu. By the way, I think Kelly said that tiramisu is Japanese. No, it's
Italian.
-Powell's bookstore. I got Barry Lydon by Thackery and The Garden of Evil by Bram Stoker, it was the only non-Dracula book they had by him. Bummer.
-Anthropologie, didn't buy anything, but I was glad to know where the store is in Portland.
Today
-Watched Breakfast at Tiffany's, I was thinking she'd be in more glamourous places with all her beautiful clothes.
-Knitted an "ear warmer" for Chase. It's cute, and he'll be the only horse in the barn with warm ears.
-Homework.
