I LOVE Mr. Ed! He's too funny, and such a womanizer (fillyizer?), in a lovable way of course.

New Zealand restaurant puts a horse steak platter on the menu, dubbed "Mr. Ed is dead".
Why pick on Mr. Ed? He was so sweet and lovable! And he talked!

I'm in umpteen horse communities, and once in a while someone will post pictures of the horses the rescue from slaughter, and I swear, 99.9% of the time whatever they paid the slaughterhouse was too much. About 10min ago, I saw a pic on one of the communities and thought, "Wow, I wonder how much dogfood they could've got out of that head alone!" It took all the restraint I could muster to keep me from commenting and saying that...
