So what have I done with my first official day of summer?
I watched MTV and channels similar to MTV. Sometimes I think that the only reason the kids on Made succeed is because the people judging (etc.) don't want to appear as jerks to this poor kid, or they just want to get on TV.
I think I'll go clean my Suburban.
Is anyone doing anything? Going anywhere? Seeing a movie? I want to do something!
Yesterday, I was going to see Batman with some track people but I fell asleep...
Oh, I also watched Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction today. I used to love that show, but today I'm like, what crap. Yesterday, Ellie and I were watching it before I fell asleep. I was kind of dozing off during one of the dramatizations, and then Ellie's like, "Is that a transvestite?" I opened my eyes and in the background there was a man wearing major lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow. Ellie and I just started laughing, I loved it so much. Such a crappy show.
Last night I watched 30 Days with Morgan Spurlock. It was humbling: they made as much in a week as Ellie and I spent at three stores in three hours. This summer, my political culture books will be on whether the minimum wage should be raised or taxes lowered.
Speaking of spending money, Ellie and I discovered love for American Eagle and Victoria's Secret.
