Early this evening when I had come out of the grocery store with a laden-down cart of goodies, I was annoyed that I had parked on a slight incline making it difficult to navigate the requisite fuckered-up wheel. As I neared my truck, I noticed that there was a skanky lookin' blinged up girl leaning against the back end of the Banana. She had a bunch of her things piled up on my bumper below the tailgate: her purse, a coffee, her phone, and a grocery bag. It wasn't really an issue; it's just a truck and she was doing it no harm, but as I got closer and made it pretty obvious that I was beelining for the Banana, she picked up most of her stuff and glared at me while moving over about 3 feet to put her stuff on her OWN vehicle which was parked next to mine. If her car was right there, why didn't she put her crap on her own damn car?
There was still a part of me that needed it to be smoothed, so as I was lining up the cart to the bed of the truck, I kept looking over hoping to catch her eye so I could smile and let her know it was ok. Finally, we made eye contact, I smile...and...she fucking glares at me again and gives me the "what are you looking at, you psycho?" stare-down.
I turned away and proceeded to open the tailgate so I could load the groceries into the back. Bitch! But no point in freaking out about it, so I carried on my way and just wanted to get out of that parking lot and finally get home after another 10 hour day at work.
Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted her not-yet-opened cup of Timmy Ho's java still sitting on my bumper.
Without missing a beat I stood to the other side and yanked open the tailgate forcefully letting it slam down. Her coffee went flying splashing up the side of her little black car. She shrieked. I paused what I was doing and looked down at the messy ground.
"Oh my...was that yours?"
She ignored me and kept yacking into her phone about how her f'n coffee is all over the f'n road and where the f'n f was her f'n b/f. And that it was all HIS fault. (interesting?)
I finished loading the truck up in silence, smiling to myself. As I walked down the hill a bit to return the cart, her empty cup came rolling down past me.
I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
