My weekend
This weekend was pretty freakin awesome. It started with Friday happy hour after work with some friends from work. I went to Kahunaville, of all places. Last place I ever expected to go, a majority straight club. Now I have been to a few gay bars here yes, but this, this was the first time that I have ever "gotten lucky". Ok so I am a huge dork, but I consider a bunch of kisses on the cheek getting lucky, I mean considering that I wasn't even expecting something like that to happen. Plus I had to wear my work clothes, no bath, or hair styling like usual when we go out. Sad thing is that lady was so freakin cute, and she looked familiar but I am such a dope, cos I didn't even get her number. It's ok I guess didn't wanna seem too ...forward. Alls I can do is hope that she is there next time we have happy hour. Totally living on the faith that, if it is meant to happen then it will and nothing can stop it, so maybe we will meet downtown while waiting for the bus or something. I wont go into too many details about what went on, but it was so cute the way I was acting. Yeah.
Saturday I saw Tone Loc and the Sugar Hill Gang and Delfomo at Kahuna. Tried to invite some one cos I had two tickets but no one wanted to go...and now I feel like a jerk cos some one else could have used that ticket. Next time...I will just think of myself and get only one. Going alone was not too bad anyways.
Spent the rest of the weekend well Sunday playing GTA. Ddidn't hang with Carrie because she didn't seem to want to hang out with me. I guess I was sorta happy about not having to drive all the way to Newark.
In my conclusion to my weekend, and my thoughts, I think that if my friends from work want to start making happy hour a regular thing, I think that I am going to quit the gay bars for a while. I just love the vibes and atmosphere I get at Kahuna...besides gay people do go there, just not the crowd that I am used to seeing, and not to judge but probably the crowd that I would be better off with. But maybe thats cos I met some one (technically) or it could be just...the way things are going to be. Either way, I do plan on going back.
