Well now, I know I don't comment on anyone's journal's these days and I'm sorry. I really need to go through my friends list and clear up inactive people as well as communities I'm in that I'm not active in. The I may be able to comment more often on your journal's. And as always you can find me on Facebook if you'd like to be friends there, same with twitter.
Let me start off with telling you how school is, this semester is almost over so that's a plus. I did drop my English class because it was once a week and you had to write two papers a week and it was too much reading. Plus, I just felt so stupid in the class, I used to be so good at English! >.< But I'll come back to it when I'm not so swamped with homework. I'm doing pretty good in my World Theater class and my Film Appreciation class. Eh, I'm trying in my Algebra 1/2 class, it's just really difficult.
Now I need to decide on my classes for next semester. I hate how they have one class one semester and not the next. Meanwhile, I'm going to have to crew two more shows and take Intro To Costumery so I can get my Associates Degree in Theater Arts. And to be honest I didn't think we had a film major at our school so that's why I chose Theater Arts. But apparently we have a "media" major which is sort of film but not, lol. But I think getting an Associates Degree in Theater Arts and then a Bachelors Degree in Film is a good thing. That's what comes after Associates Degree, right?
It's been a year since I quit Walmart and had that little road trip to Los Angeles and then moved back to Sonoma and started going to school to reach my dreams. I'm a lot different then I was a year ago, how far I've come, and those who've been with me since high school on here I'm sure you can see that too, right?
In other news, work has been exhausting, well if I'm not at school I'm at work. But since Mockingjay Part 1 opened we've got it playing in four rooms so it's playing every hour and I am tired! I didn't even realize I had a ten hour shift the other day and I have a few more of those next week. Luckily I'm the only one that has to work four days cuz for some reason my college is the only one that still has school the majority of the week. Plus, my boss gave me the 28th off to go see our schools production of Phantom of the Opera. He really didn't need to give me the whole day off but it was nice of him.
I've seen all our movies except for Mockingjay Part 1. Dumb and Dumber To was funny, a more updated comedy for the newer generations but it still holds the comedy of the original movie and I just love Jim Carrey. Big Hero 6 was too funny and cute, I'm trying to get the Marvel comics of it, I'm already femslashing the heck out of it. Interstellar was alright, I think I had my standards too high for it and I'm not really a Christopher Nolan fan anyways. But it was a good SciFi film, though I liked Gravity more. I'm sure I've seen others I just can't think of them at the moment.
Some random stuff, I haven't been able to draw much because I'm so busy but I'm hoping to take a drawing class one of these semesters just for fun. I'm having a good fight at with trying to not drink soda and I'm cutting back on the Starbucks I get. I need to get back to walking but again I'm always busy and too tired, excuses excuses I know. Um, I started playing Pokemon Yellow again, that brings back memories. And as far as anime's go I'm of course keeping up on the new Sailor Moon Crystal. I'm watching Wolf Girl and Black Prince cuz I love my romance anime's, I watched some Gungrave tonight and I find the Your Lie In April anime very beautifully done, I just wish the episodes were longer.
Other then all that, everything is fine, just fighting with the government on giving me MediCal when my boss makes more then me and he gets approved and yet I don't get approved probably because I'm a college student. Tch!
I hope you're all doing well and sorry the long journal post!!! >.<
PS if you listen to the ending credits of Mockingjay Part 1, Jennifer Laurence sings a song and she's a pretty good singer.
