(no subject)
Hey Everyone,
So lets just say that this trip was...er...interesting.
So Wednesday we get to the airport where our usual group and I were trying to play Peanut Butter except that we just had too many people so the whole time we were basically shouting at each other to pass the cards. Sehr funny. Then we get in the plane were I was sitting next to Mr. Nowell... I mean Ben and next to him was Mrs. Duck. Now dont get me wrong she seems like a wonderful lady but lets just say that Ben and I basically know how a school administration operates now. Also there was a man in front of me that randomly would put the seat back and so I had a hard time with doing my HW. So after we made it to the hotel we got up to our room where I was rooming with Jenn-aya, Tipper, and Pammy. Well we also learned that Pammy's bag was 12 pounds over the weight limit (and this is after she took out 6 pounds at the check-in counter at the airport) so we were obviously curious why it weighed so much. She brought food including: appleS, orangeS, BAGELS, lays chips, bottle water, APPLE SAUCE, PB crackers, and the one that most got us...TUNA. YES!!!! SHE BROUGHT TUNA TO THE TRIP. Now what if it had opened!?!?! she would be sleeping out in the hall.
So Thursday it was basically Symphony Hall Day. but I did not mind. It was sooooo pretty. And so huge. I just loved it and was mad that my stupid camera did flash even if you didn't press the button. Anyways I think we did very well on stage and when we were going up the stairs to the clinic with Mr. Keene, I tripped on my dress and down I went. It was so embarassing. But then again I am a klutz so what else is new? That night though was SEHR fun. We went to Gino's where (Tipper and I are Amazing Race fans) the teams went to to eat a whole thing of pizza as a task on the Amazing Race. So I asked the waiter where it was at and he pointed us to the way. So Tipper and I went over where people stared as we pointed at them. lol Anyways back at the table Ben, Travis, Pam, Tipper, Jenny and I were laughing like no other. I mean we had a blast coming up with our own inside jokes. So after that we went back up to our room where Pam could not stop talking about Brandon. So now we have it where everytime she mentions him we each get to punch her!!! She stopped.
So Friday we went first to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was funny because the way we went in it seemed like that was it which wasnt much at all but then we followed another group and found a separate section. This section was alright but it was like put together in like the 80s so it was old looking or it was broke. anyways then Pam comes by and goes Come with us cuz we want to take pictures. And man oh man, you turned on corner and BAM, there was a WHOLE new section that was new and HUGE. there would be something new on every corner. it was cool. so after the we headed over to the Art Museum (or was it Water Tower?? oh whatever). Now my favorite part about the trip was the Miniture Rooms that were in a section of the Museum. They were so pretty and intricate that it was amazing on who would be able to do somehting like that. So then we headed over to the Star room where basically half the band was sitting or laying in there. Us Band Nerds. anyways we then headed over to WaterTower where I was trying to find a shirt to wear for the Broadway show that night. No luck. We wished that we would have gone out of the Mall but we forgot we could go down the street. Anyways so we go back to the hotel and Brittany came over to straighten Jenny's hair. Pam was kind enough to lend me her shirt which looked really cute. So then then we headed over to Ed Debivics. Well lets just say they must have gotten complaints over the years cuz the last time I was there they were a LOT ruder. But we had a broken pitcher cuz there was orange juice all over the table. Anyways so after that adventurer we headed over to the Broadway show. This was my first show so I thought it was really good except for the part where I couldn't see for half the time. but it sounded really good. I really like the Inn keeper and his wife especially at the end. lol So we headed back to the hotel where once again Pam kept singing the whole night....uggg....lol
So on Saturday we woke up late so Jessica and I didnt have any breaksfast. then we headed over to the cruise, Spirit of Chicago. After we ate, we went on top where we took our bass clarinet/contra pic. Will's hair is like a fro, Jenny's looked like she shaved half of it and did the other side in a mohawk and I have all my hair going one way except for one piece that went straight up. Austin's looked like like it does every day. I also got to dance the time away with tessa and all of them which was really fun. After that we went to the hotel and had practice which was alright. After that everyone that was Catholic had a short meeting about when we were going to go to mass. Then I headed up to the room. After that we went to an Italian restraunt which was so-so but of course when you put the bass clarinets together then you know that you have a problem on your hands. So then we went to the Obveratory which was alright as well except for the part where we took pictures and we made it look like Jenny was trying to push me off. Then we went downstairs where I bought some soveniers. We headed back to hotel to try and pack.
So Sunday comes and I was the only one in my room that was going to go to church so I got up early and got ready. When we got there the inside was so beautiful. I loved it so much. There were cameras everywhere which took away from the sermon. but it was very beautiful. But I felt bad cuz I was raised so that it would only be appropiate to go get communion after you went to confession that previous Saturday. Also we did what my dad would call a Drive-thur Catholic where we left after receiving Communion. After that we met up with everyone and headed to the Planetarium, which to me was again alright. I stayed up for most of it except for the last 5 mins. Then after that we headed over to Navy Pier for Bubba Gump. We had time to go before and look around so Jenny, Jessica and I decided that it would be fun if we got an animal from Build-A-Bear. Well the guy that come up to us was VERY ....special. He must have took like happy pills or sumptin cuz he was definately weird...... anyways I went to teh gift shop and bought a few more things before we sat down and ate. It was funny cuz Tracy asked Zach what Fish and chips were. And Zach goes...Fries and Chicken. So the whole time I was making fun of him. anyways after that we headed over to the field museum which was fun. Jenny Holick and I were going around the Gem room and saying which one would be suitable for us when our Mr. Right was to propose. We basically would need like a portible crane to follow us so it could hold up our finger. lol! anyways after that we headed back to the airport. which was fun...I once again sat with Ben where I beat him 9 times in a row at VC. lol!! I also taught Ben his numbers since he obviously didn't know that there was a number between 5 and 3. Anyways we got back , but it was weird since it really just felt like we had just spent the afternoon at the airport and tommorow was supposed to be Thursday. but I got home and crashed.
So today I skipped first period but i have a huge amount of make-up work. Its going to be hard to get this all done.
I dont want to even get into the Diversity Act.
So I guess I'm going to give up on him. I wish he would just open his eyes and realize that I do like him...or maybe he does know and he just doesn't want it to happen...either way I seem him follow this other girl. I know I can't compete with her. Who wants to go out with a fatso like me anyways...
The trip was fun tho. Wish I could go back.
