I hated that saying with a passion. That mystery shop so depends on you saying those exact words. One time I said it so robotically to a customer on the phone, he busted out laughing. The culture of fear be strong and F-Off! By keeping people afraid to lose their job over the slightest infraction has been the greatest friend to F-Off because they can treat the staff anyway they feel like it. I think it might be more along the lines that if you are desperate for a job they will pay you as little as they think they can get away with. I went to apply at office max and they told me that $11hr was a lot of money the best they would pay is $9.50hr and that was with experience and education. The whooping $11.00hr was only around 21k a year so I don't know what hiring Office Max manager was talking about.
