Tieria blinked at him once before narrowing his eyes. Their confrontation from earlier still burned in his mind, the utter stupidity of the boy's actions ignited his blood. The finger still on the trigger of the empty gun in his hand twitched. (Futile, useless, frustrating.) His other fist flew and connected solidly with Setsuna's cheek. He lacked Lockon's weight to put into it, so Setsuna just stumbled back a few steps instead of sprawling on the beach. He stared at Tieria for half a second, as if shocked (eyes darkening and tongue darting to taste the trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth).
And then they collided, tumbling onto the sand and tearing at each other. Teiria was glad he had not bothered with his glasses as Setsuna landed a punch on his eye, and he returned it with a knee in the gut. The wind fled Setsuna's lungs with a 'whoosh' and Tieria used his height for leverage to flip Setsuna on his back. Somehow, he managed to grab both the boy's wrists in one hand, and he pinned them down above Setsuna's head. He jammed the barrel of the gun under the younger pilot's chin, forcing him to stare up at him as he gasped (panting, flushed) for breath.
“You are nothing but a hot-tempered child,” Tieria hissed. “You put the entire mission at risk with your idiotic pissing contest with that PMC pilot. Do you even realize the consequences of your actions?”
Setsuna just glared, fury burning in his eyes. The blood in the corner of his mouth began to trickle down the side of his face. Tieria drove the gun harder against the (soft, smooth, easily bruised) flesh under his jaw. Setsuna had to arch his neck back, pressing his head into the sand. He squirmed beneath Tieria, who straddled his legs to keep him still and leaned heavily on his pinned wrists. He could feel Setsuna's chest and ribs pressed against his through the thin layers of their sleeping garments with every breath and struggle (hot, sweat-damp, the gritty scratch of sand).
“Lockon goes too easy on you,” Tieria went on. “I should have just killed you.”
“So do it then,” Setsuna spat. His eyes were wide, flashing moonlight. “As long as you realize the consequences.”
Tieria sneered and raised his gun to clip the side of Sestuna's face - and hesitated. Their faces were so close, he could feel Setsuna's heavy breaths on his skin (could smell the blood, the beach, the sweat, the heat) and he licked his own lips, suddenly uncertain. A strange thrill stirred in his belly as his hand moved as if by its own will to draw the barrel of the gun up Setsuna's cheek. Almost gentle, slow, following the trail of blood, which glistened darkly against the metal.
Setsuna's quick, quiet gasp was silenced as Tieria slid the tip of the gun past the boy's lips. His eyebrows rose, then pulled down, and he just stared warily upwards. His struggles ceased, and Tieria wondered what that meant. Then it was his turn to draw a rapid breath when Setsuna's tongue flicked out and licked the traces of his blood from the barrel, all while Setsuna's gaze, now a half-lidded challenge, never wavered from his face.
And then Tieria jerked the gun away before for Setsuna could feel the tremors traveling to his extremities. He realized his mistake as soon as Setsuna launched himself upward, and their lips met and tangled.
It was not gentle. It was not sweet. It was teeth (hate) and tongue (blood) and slick (lust). It was Tieria's first kiss. It shocked him, and it was all he could do to keep breathing through it. Tingles of hotcold ran down his spine, made his skin crawl, and low in his belly a pool of heat scalded him. And it became another kind of fight, another kind of battle, and he warred with Setsuna for control.
Until Setsuna shifted beneath him, connecting their hips, and fuck, they were both so hard, and Tieria broke off with a strangled sound he was mortified to hear pass his lips. His grip on Setsuna's wrists slipped and small, hard hands suddenly tangled in his hair, pulling him back down. He fumbled his hand free of the gun to dig his fingers into Setsuna's shoulder while his hips jerked helplessly downwards. Setsuna grunted softly, and Tieria swallowed it greedily.

His whole body jerked when Setsuna's hands left his hair to grab his ass and squeeze. He gasped, started to thrust in earnest. Setsuna's hands pulled him down, harder, faster, as he matched him stroke for stroke, building a fierce, demanding rhythm. They were pressed so tightly together he could feel both their hearts pounding. The blood thundered in his ears, drowning out the sounds of the waves chasing each other up the beach.
And then there was a confusing moment of movement, a dizzy spin, and suddenly Tieria was on his back with the earth (all dirt and filth and grit) beneath him and Setsuna (all heavy and heat and human error) above him. Between his legs, and pounding against him, and sucking at the sensitive flesh below his ear, and oh fuck. Teiria felt a rush of (shame) ecstasy consume him, and he cried out sharply as he came, his whole body arching with the force of it.
Setsuna stiffened a moment later, teeth sinking into his neck with force enough to bruise. And then he collapsed on top of Tieria, panting raggedly. His damp breath against sticky, dirty skin brought Tieria slowly back from a bliss-dulled stupor. Back to this horrible beach with this unruly brat - and what had they just done?
He was shaking again. He was shaking all over (pathetic) and a sick weight sank in his midsection (oh shit oh shit oh shit) and he shoved Setsuna off him without warning. He didn't look at the boy as he stood with some attempt at dignity (ignoring the wet marks on the front of his pajama pants, the way he trembled, the hot, telling flush that stung his cheeks) and he picked up his gun. He could feel Setsuna's eyes on him until he stalked back into the concealing darkness of the stinking forest.
He hated the earth. But he just might hate Setsuna more.
