Hi Mods!

I saw on the prompt rules page that incest is not allowed under any circumstances, even with warnings. I assume, then, that Chin/Kono is not a pairing allowed on this meme?

As a sexual pairing Chin/Kono is not allowed. As a familial pairing or a friendship pairing, yes they are allowed. If you want to prompt a comfort fic with no sexual leanings, you can prompt Chin/Kono.

Thanks for getting back to me. It's not a sexual pairing that I'm particularly interested in, but I am curious as to why consensual incest is considered by the meme to be in the same category as bestiality, necrophilia, and pedophilia?

It's not that we consider it in the same category as those three. Those are just the things we don't feel are appropriate for this comm. I'm sorry if you think they should be included, but we don't feel this is an appropriate venue. Also considering the only other family in this show includes a child, we didn't want that to become an issue.

I'm not trying to be difficult, really, but wouldn't this be out of the question because of the ban on pedophilia?

No need for a reply, just throwing thoughts out there. Like I said, I'm not really all that interested in any incestuous pairings on this show, but I did have a kind of intellectual ping about the ban. :D

You'd be surprised how people can find ways around bans. I'm not sure what intellectual ping you had, but the question is valid. There are just somethings that we felt did not need to be included in the comm.
