Just had to call up the bank to cancel a card I lost a week ago. The lady on the other line was ridiculously sweet with this adorable little Northern Irish accent. I just wanted to cuddle up to the phone and have her read me bedtime stories. I support outsourcing if that's what you get. /such an audiophile
Other news, I'm going to ~~Russia~~ in two weeks with mother and sister (...so, a week without being debauched *long nooo of doom*) because the NHS have finally decided to give my father up and let him come home, which means ONLY A FEW HOURS OF WORK LEFT and THEN I CAN ENJOY MY SUMMER. HOORAY.
Except I now have to clean my room instead of putting it off and have to start work on next semester's stuff. I also need to buck up and join student radio. I think I now know enough about politics to bluff my way into some nameless boring news job that no one in Manchester wants to do.
But yay more time for pissing down the pan writing. Burnballs owns my soul, mostly because it's letting me fall back into my old style of writing which Star Trek fic never fitted with. The lolitics meme seems very dead, because there are probably about 5 people and I wouldn't be surprised if, like I said would happen, most people were scared off by twittergate. But I love this pairing, okay? I want to write it regardless of views/comments. But I'm probably going to stick it onto kinkfics anyway because omg it's so ~bare~ because I never got around to deanoning on most of my racier Chekov/Sulu and... I really love the pairing, okay? I also want to do an AU teenage Burnballs but I started writing it and worked out I was writing, erm. 17!Burnham and that kind of... correlated to a certain... other... fandom... but uhudsjgakj fuck you guys, I do what I want.
Also Ed Miliband needs to stop emailing me. It's desperate. Just because I followed your twitter doesn't mean I can vote for you, you dozy twat.
I'm enjoying England so much guys. D: I used to be so patriotic and it kinda leaked away, then I started watching all these great programmes and it's shocked me into adoring again. Everyone who can watch BBC shows - OH. MY. GOD. WATCH. REV. Rev is incredibly witty, fantastically fast, sweet, touching, brilliant - I cannot rave about this enough. Not only only does it have the amazing eyed midget Tom Hollander (The Fucker in The Thick of It, The MP in The Loop or Lord Cutler Beckett in Pirates of The Caribbean) but it's also... amazing when it comes to the treatment of the Church of England. Just, give it a chance. I beg you. Even if you don't care about religion, you get to see this man for 30 minutes:

Also, just in case, does anyone watch My Family? I hate My Family because it should have ended several god damn series ago, but... OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT LAST EPISODE. I don't want to *spoil* but omg I wanted to stab all the writers.
Totally buying Peter Mandelson's autobiography tomorrow. Yes, I am completely enamoured with the man. He is such a creepy motherfucker. It's beautiful.
