If you wish me to not quote Star Trek in this essay, could you please provide me with references that don't quote Star Trek themselves?
This is the third time I've hit a webpage with the friggin' Horta, I am not putting "Dammit, lecturer, I'm a silicon-based life form, not an Earth-like organism" in my work.
NO.
BAD INTERNET.

It seems perfectly logical to me...

LOL IIRC MCCOY ONCE SAID THAT THE HUMAN BODY IS 90/95% WATER WHICH WORRIES ME!
I never could quite work out how Spock's biology works. O_o

AND AND MCCOY CALLED TRIBBLES "BISEXUAL" WHEN HE CLEARLY MEANT "CAPABLE OF ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION". McCoy may, dammit, be a doctor, but he's only as good as the guys that wrote the script .__.
The green blood... might make some sense, using copper instead of iron, but his lips would be way greener and the lids of his eyes, all the stuff that they couldn't fix without ACTUALLY painting Nimoy's insides. Vulcan physiology is probable, but they wouldn't look like the Vulcans on screen.

But but they killed Weird Dog! ;_____________; Those bastards!
MAYBE THEY WERE BISEXUAL. IN TRIBBLE LAND MPREG EXISTS!
No I meant if his Dad's blood is copper-based and his Mom's is iron, surely Spock's insides are all screwed up. Cos I mean he is mostly Vulcan but didn't he not expect to go Ponn Farr cos he was half-human or something...
/Needs more research

Then all is well in tribble land.
Actually, if we assume that the four proteins which are in the haemoglobin molecule are coded for on one chromosome, it's perfectly possible that he got the "haemoglobin" gene (it won't be haemoglobin [haemo = iron] maybe cupruglobin?) entirely from Sarek, meaning all his blood is Vulcanised.

KINK! KINK! You know all those Tribble!Chulu prompts... so now we have establuished that trbbles are a) BISEXUAL and b) CAPABLE OF MPREG: SULU AND CHEKOV GET TRUNED INTO TRIBBLES AND HAVE BABY TRIBBLES...
IDK what would happen next thought... would the baby!tribbles also turn back into human babies? Would Chekov (or Sulu, for that matter... or both) still be pregnant when they turned back? WHAT IS THIS? I DON'T EVEN.

OR IT WOULD BE THAT VOYAGER EPISODE WHERE PARIS AND JANEWAY GET CHANGED INTO WEIRD THINGS AND HAVE WEIRD BABIES AND THE BABIES LEAVE. I don't want that. I want sudden toddlers, because tribbles age really fast at the beginning of their lifecycle, so they're just used to being human again, waking up in sickbay, and
SUDDENLY
six year old triplets jumping on their stomachs happy as anything because they're tribble!kids and effortlessly smiley.

Or maybe they don't have babies but Kirk decided to mess with them and is like, "Hai guys! here! these are your tribble babies!" And Sulu is all WTF? But Chekov is like, "MAI BABIES! HIKARU DO NOT MAKE THOSE FACES! THESE ARE YOUR CHILDREN. DON'T WORRY MY DARLINGS, YOUR PAPA LOVES YOU AND YOUR DADDY WILL LEARN TO IN TIME!" and he carries them about in a sling and stuff until Kirk admits that are just other tribbles.
But awww suprise!toddler!triplets would be so cute! I like that better... LOL They're scared of Klingons and purr/coo when you tickle them.
(Chulu tribble!triplets meet Wharf when they're grown up. Wharf: "Captain Picard? Why are those ymen/women hissing at me? ;_______________;"]

Chekov would murder Kirk for that. Viciously, with knives. And then he'd adopt a real kid and ;____; would occur, with pet tribbles.
;A; ugh, cutest thing ever. Cooing triplets. They'd freak Spock out, though. CHENIUS SMILEY CHILDREN.

Lol, Chekov would be all, 'IT DOES NOT MATTER IF I DID NOT GIVE BIRTH TO THEM! THEY ARE STILL MY BABIES!' then he'd chase Kirk round the ship. To beat him to death with his own shoes.
Haha Spock would be all, "Fascinating!" I bet the tribble!triplet's cooing has a calming effect on his nervous system too so he secretly loves them. ♥ ♥
Do you think littlewolfstar could be bribed to draw chibi chulu!tribble!tripelets? Because that would be the cutest thing ever.
