Katie’s quicker at these things than Angel though and she swiftly gets around to unbuttoning Angel’s jeans and pulling them down as far as she can. And Angel can barely think, let alone reciprocate, as Katie pulls down her knickers and strokes the soft skin of her stomach and then further and further down…
‘Open your eyes,’ Katie says sternly without stopping.
Katie’s blue eyes are bright, they shine intensely, and are filled with severity but they melt like ice when Angel’s flutter open.
‘Keep going,’ Angel murmurs vaguely, ‘more, please, please, Katie.’ She feels a fingernail skimming her clitoris lightly and then the gentle pad of the finger rubbing against it.
Warmth shoots up through her entire body at the friction. She arches back involuntarily and considers pulling Katie down for another kiss but no, because she might stop and Angel doesn’t want her to stop, she doesn’t ever want this to stop.
‘Katie,’ she pleads lightly, she strokes Katie’s breast again and then wraps her arms tightly around her neck. ‘More, please, deeper.’
Katie nods solemnly, ‘yes I know,’ she gasps as Angel’s fingertips brush the nape of her neck, ‘just wait. Just for now, just let me touch you here a little longer.’
‘A little longer’, Angel repeats.
She needs just a little more time like this to soak in the expression of her best friend’s face, because really, she’s never had anyone like this and she wants to preserve it in her memory. So when she’s old and broken she can look back and think ‘it wasn’t always like this, I was young and loved someone beautiful. Someone who loved me back. There was light in our eyes and warmth in our hearts. And we were friends, best friends.’
