Modern AU

Uther tells Arthur he's got to spend the week 'entertaining' an overseas client. Arthur is expecting the usual overweight bloke who likes strip clubs and tack so books a week full of this.

He gets Merlin instead.

Both have a miserable week wishing full of het entertainment thinking this is what the other prefers.

Future fic. Mordred, now of age (16+), is consumed with anger over Merlin's status serving King Arthur as court sorcerer. In a jealous and possessive rage, he uses magic to control/coerce/seduce Merlin. Bonus points for Arthur forced to watch (or interested in participating) and established relationship with Arthur.

Tangled AU. With Arthur as Rapunzel and Merlin as Eugene? As a matter of personal taste, I'm not into genderbending, but if you want to throw crossdressing into it, that's fine with me (not a requirement, though). :D (And if someone wants to post a genderbending variation, please feel free; it's just not my thing.)

Though if someone wants to write Merlin as Pascal and Arthur as Maximus, that would just about make my day, too. *koff* Maybe with Gwaine as Eugene and Elena as Rapunzel in the background?
