i saw the microphones the other night. phil elvrum is a bit wacky, but in a good musical genius sort of way. it was so nice to see someone just play awesome music with so much visible feeling. god, that sounded lame.
my cousins (aged 5 and 11) are visiting from the u.s. and insisted on having a fourth of july barbecue. i wonder what would happen if i asked to celebrate australia day when i was over there? they've probably never heard of it.
