nothing exciting
Wow, so it's been a very long while since I've updated...like months. Things haven't been busier than normal, but it feels like I just don't have the time for this thing anymore.
Anyway, here goes nothing.
Aaron and I decided that by Feb 23 of next year we will be married. It's been long enough. It's just...time. I'm excited!
Speaking of weddings and getting married, I will be a bridesmaid in a wedding in May. Robin and Brad. May 19th to be exact, and I couldn't be happier about any of it. I'm excited they're getting married, I'm excited I'm going to be part of it, I'm excited I have been able to call them two of my best friends. It's going to be fun going back to Springfield for the weekend and seeing everyone I've missed over the last two years. I can't believe it's been almost two years since I left, it seems like forever and a day ago that I was saying goodbye to those guys. Ah, I can't wait.
Things have changed at work, people have come and gone...promotions are in place. Things are well. I always have a favorite or two when it comes to the people I work with...there's no doubt about it, it's still the same. Jess and Emily. I love those guys. Emily is one of the coolest people I've ever met, her and I pretty much hit it off from the beginning. She's easy to talk to, easy to listen to, and tons of fun to be around. haha...and then there's Jess. What can I say about that kid? He's one of the good guys you always want around you. He's tons of fun as well, and he can sing...play the guitar, drums, piano...probably more. He's going to be a big time musician one of these days and forget all about me...but it will be worth it. Hah. These are the people that make me laugh the most.
I'm now a "Leader in Training", whatever that is. It's a promotion...and that's always fun.
I got a new car December 6th, after going to hell and back with the dealership (which is always nice). Hyundai Elantra 2007. It's my favorite car...well, that I've driven. It's nice and pretty and new and mine and WOW! :) I already have 5200 miles on it if that tells you anything. I LOVE it!
I went skydiving Feb 16th...and that was awesome. Heading 120 MPH towards the earth....AHHHH, it was the greatest!!! Definitely something I want to do again...and soon! Jess wants me to go with him, so that should be fun.
AND, I want to get my tattoo soon. An outline of a star on my right ankle. As soon as possible, please. :)
I guess that's all the big stuff. Nothing else new that I can think of. Hopefully, I will keep up with this thing a little better from now on, but there's no promises.
