Defintely merits an LJ entry

So this morning I'm driving to school like most other mornings...and I see this pack of buzzards on the side of the road eating on some dead animal and whatnot...also a pretty normal situation. I didn't think anything of it even when they started scattering off as I was getting closer, because that happens all the time as well. Well, this one loner buzzard decides to be the cool one and go the exact opposite way of all the other buzzards...so this one, instead of flying AWAY from my car like the smart ones, it flies towards my car...like the stupid, stupid bird that it is. The bird flies all the way across the front of my car before I really get into hitting range (so, at this point I'm still thinking everything's okay) and then decides it's not really the independent bird that it thinks it is and STOPS IN MID AIR...acts like it's going to turn around and go back and BAM, we collide. I'm a little shocked at this point because everything was so normal and everyday until the bird decided to make a life changing decision and I had to be right there when it happened. So I look up to the passenger corner of my windsheild and what do I see? Bingo. A crack. Slowly getting longer and longer. Nice. That's what I needed. I call my parents and they laugh. Nice, again.

A bird cracked my windshield.
