Allie slept over last night...it was fun. We saw Winn-Dixie and then Jawbreakers (cause it was on tv) which was very...interesting. We had fun though.
My mentor for my graduation project has dissappeared. Nobody really knows where she went, and/or knows if she's ever coming back. This kind of sucks because I need her to fill stuff out. Perhaps I can just turn it in with the excuse that she died. They can't take off for that....
I went to Borders the other day and found a book of hers (Yes, my mentor was a romance author) and opened it in the middle and started reading. I dont think I've ever read anything quite so grotesque in my entire life...she's like 50 years old and is using the words "silky, delicious, stern, principly, delicatly fleshy," and "folded head slightly entranced to the left side like a leaning half spiral." It was just plain nasty. There is no way that you could write with such detail if you haven't lived it, or it is very difficult to do so...and the thought of that is just....ewwww. I guess I'm just not into that kind of literature. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if I didnt personally know the women I guess. Just...ewww.
