Man...I did this last year too. My friends are never around to do anything on new years, and I'm left by myself to be on the computer while my brother is at Dom's house all night, and my parents sleep. What a wonderful holiday huh? I guess it did make it better that I got to talk to Eric for like an hour or so before he had to go again, and he plans to call me again when he gets the chance, which will be within the next hour I'm hoping. And also that my brother was so considerate as to leave me this beautiful piece of technology for me to play with! How nice of him! (I'll just have to put it all back away so he never knows I even had it out.)
Without this wonderful device I'm not sure what I would be doing. It's much more enjoyable being able to talk to the few friends that are around, and having a ton of downloaded music to listen to on his built in MP3. Without it I guess I would be...pacing the house? I don't know. Sad really.
On the brighter side once again, there was a package waiting for me when I got home. It was my ddr mat that I've wanted for almost a year, the really nice one that's like a hundred bucks. So Yay! I got my desired xmas present afterall :). It just took about a year to get it. Oh well. I just wish I had a playstation set up for it so I could play it right now. I may move the playstation up here to the den because I know it will be atleast another year before mom and dad clear out the basement section of what once was the rec room. I guess I'll live though. As long as I get to play. *coos with joy* It's so.... pretty! (says in Dori-like ezpression)
Before we left Grandma's, she gave us our xmas presents of which I was actually happy to recieve. I got a pretty plaid (bluish tealish greenish navish) pjs that make me feel cute when I wear them, and an extra 25$ to hold me over. Now I have a total of 70 dollars I think from this Christmas alone, which is quite nice. I love feeling rich, lol. I guess now I have about a hundred or so. Yay :) But, I also have more pajamas then I know what to do with, but that's okay. They all make me feel cute and special, so that's all that matters.
Hmm...now that I think about it, I've gotten pjs almost every year. lol Oh well...these ones are extra pretty.
Only a half hour left of 2004. I guess I should make a resolution. Hmmm...yes...okay. Let's see....I can think of a few. Such as getting Yarmouth through training successfully, or not exceeding 125 pounds (not all that hard), or maybe...umm...hm. Getting an A in math? I don't know...Eric promised he'd help me, him being a genius and all, having already taken the course before me. But for right-brained me, that sounds kinda out of reach. How about...I...make a new friend. 2 new friends. At least. There. I like those. I make friends easily enough. It shouldn't be a problem.
I've just realized that I'm starting to talk like Stewie. I guess 8 hours of Family Guy can do that to you. Oy. Well...at least Stewie is intelligent. And evil. Yes...that's a plus. Bloody Hell, there I go off again.
Yes, you know I'm doing it on purpose now. At least in that last secter. Oh shut up. I said shut up !
I suppose I should be going now. Not much else to do. Maybe check email or update in my other journal...I now have three. So, I shall be off then. Hope you all have a happy new year. Make the best of it loves, Always, ~Kini ♥
