Hello fans, friends and foes. Welcome to the 2nd edition of my journal. This week I am going to touch on a number of subjects. Let’s get started shall we.
Billy Gunn and Bob “I can beat up a kid from Tough Enough” Holly: These two have been bitching and moaning about the lack of a push and even attended a TNA Xplosion taping. What the frig has either of them accomplished in recent history? If they are upset let them find work elsewhere. I’m quite sure the WWE will do fine without either of them.
Great American Bullshit: This PPV was a complete waste of time. The WWE should be ashamed of themselves for putting on such a farce. Anytime you have Bob Holly versus Mordecai (Who is in the process of being sent back to OVW if he isn’t already because he blows), Billy Gunn versus Kenzo Suzuki plus Torrie versus Sable as 3 major matches on a ppv. This was bound too suck. It reminds me of the 2003 Royal Rumble and 2003 No Way Out matches HHH had against Scott Steiner. They totally sucked.
Women’s wrestling/Women in Wrestling: Is it me or does women’s wrestling suck today? Unfortunately in today’s wrestling women have become a T&A show. Whatever happened to the women who can actually work? Sure, WWE has a few women like Lita, Victoria, Jazz and Molly Holly but they also have Shaniqua (or at least they did until she was shipped to OVW) Jackie Gayda, Trish, Sable and Torrie Wilson… Don’t get me wrong, there are still women in the business who can “work” but now it seems that if you can suck(litterally) and spread ypur legs you get booked on a number of indy shows. Whatever happened too women like Baby Doll, Dark Journey, Precious, Sunshine, Woman and Sherri Martel? These women while they weren’t wrestlers played a crucial part in most matches.
Old School Wrestling: This is my final topic for today boys and girls.. In my humble opinion wrestling needs to go back to the days of old. What I mean by that is wrestling matches do not need to be filled with crazy dives or spots. This not only is a good way to get yourself permanately injured but it takes the crowd out of the rest of the matches if they are not filled with crazy spots. Also, it doesn’t seem like wrestlers give much thought into their matches. All they want to do is top the match before theirs. Wrestlers today need to pace themselves during a match. If they would work more on the mat they could get the crowd into the match just like someone doing 3 or four crazy dives.
Well that’s all I have to say. Until next time, cya…..
