a couple years ago andrew wk played a show here and there was an after party at the bourbon. we heard that he was gonna sing a few songs, party hard, be awesome, and of course me and my friends were stoked. the weird part about this story is that for some reason we didnt think that the bourbon would be crowded or cost very much. so after i got dressed in an outfit of a white tshirt and white jeans (sure to be the only fan who has pulled that move) we started off the night by going to some show at pub340.. i remember dancing and saying to people at the show, "yeah we're gonna go party with andrew wk now, we gotta go" and we took off to the bourbon, in our minds to simply meet up with our pal andrew wk, share some drinks and sings some tunes with him. our bubbles burst when we showed up at the bourbon (mind you it was about midnight by this point) to a lineup down the street and like a 30 dollar cover charge.
