Bike Repair

I popped one of my bike tires and lost a pedal. Since have no idea how to fix/change the tire I wanted to bring it into a shop to be fixed.  Does anyone know a cheap repair shop or bike shop that would be willing to fix the tire in the downtown area?  I know where most of the bike shops are but I feel like going to each one to discover who will do it cheaply.  Also does anyone know how much something like this would cost?
