Rita Moreno's daughter was in Barb's mom's group; Ms. Moreno is a charming hostess.
As close as I've knowingly come to the famous.
(Though there will be some achievers among those I've taught, I'll wager.)
Point Richmond is the archetypal old-town film location, and I've been in proximity to Robin Williams on the Patch Adams shoot, and Christina Applegate and Cameron Diaz as they shot The Sweetest Thing -- and blocked access to my local coffee shop.
But I'm not into idol worship.
Or idle worship.
