So the manager of the cafeteria at work just died today. As in this morning. In the cafeteria. I wasn't there, and I didn't really know him, but dude. It's been a rought morning, and the whole office is a mess. Because he worked in the cafeteria, pretty much everyone knew him at least a little, plus several of his family members also work here, so they're not doing well either. My BIL is one of the first aid responders here, so he was right there, doing CPR, and he's really not doing well now. I've never seen him like that. I'm just feeling a little shell-shocked, but every time I get up and go somewhere, I encounter someone with red eyes, and the whole mood here is just... very subdued. Work is continuing to happen, but it's going to be a rough week, I think.
