Still here, but on the wrong side of the pond to go see the play.

Last night, however, DD12 and I went to see the play "Freud's Last Session" - a 2 character play based on the premise "what if Freud and C. S. Lewis met and argued about the existance of God?" At the end of the play, Freud turns on the radio and we hear King George VI saying "there may be dark days ahead" and I about bounced out of my seat! I whispered to my daughter "Do you recognize this?" and she whispered back "F*ck! F*ck!" (Yes, I know, I shouldn't be encouraging my daughter to swear, but it was the one scene in TKS that cracked her up.)

That is my kids' favorite scene in the movie too. (Though my younger son is so sick of Colin Firth movies that anything I am watching, he walks through and says, "Colin Firth is the bad guy!") I still haven't seen the Freud/Jung movie with Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender, have you?

Still here! But unfortunately not in London. :-( Though if I ever get the chance to see the play, I will.

Also unfortunately not in London, heh. I am still waiting for the Queen to invite me to her jubilee celebrations!
