Let's say someone's feeling like crap, and they go into the world actively searching for a hero, someone to fix their problems, but find only someone with greater problems. The person who was worse off than person #1 isn't a hero; because unless you can help yourself, you create problems for not only you, but other people as well, which is nearly the opposite of being a hero. The first person is a hero for helping the other person, but ultimately cannot be called a true hero because he couldn't help himself without the assistance of another person.
The first person showed his lack of heroic nature by going to search out someone else to fix his problems for him.
While both my have performed heroic actions, neither showed true heroism.
But that's just my opinion, so we know it can't be right. xD
