Wii Friend codes

Ok, so Lydia and I got a Wii (Thank you Derek and Danielle for your acqusition and procurement expertise.) So my question is What is a friend code and how do I get one?

You may have already figured it out. But to get the Friend Code, go to the message center (lower right of main Wii menu I believe).
Then Address Book.
If it just shows some blank pages with no friends there, look for an arrow on the left side of the screen to go back a "page".
Should see a man page with your friend code on it.
You can also add peoples friends code from the address book, but they have to have yours to see each other.
