MMMMMM.......BEEER.......
Just got finished brewing a Blue Moon. Although I am not particularly found of this beer, or this style for that matter, I brewed it because someone gave me over half the ingredients for free. I supposed I could have just done a wheat or something like an Oberon, but this was a little more challenging in formulating the recipe. Should be ready to drink in about 20 days.
On a less awe inspiring note, tomorrow (Monday) is my birthday. Not one of, and I quote myself here "Important Birthdays, like 21, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50...." but it is that time of year again. So after we have dinner with Lydia's folks (Not at all to do with the event, but rather her cousin is coming for dinner and her mom hasn't seen this person in years, and for those who know her family no its not Matt) I as thinking about going to a bar or something for a few beers, shenanigans not exceed midnight because its a school night :( . Currently I'm leaning towards Mally's (possibly O'Mally's, I don't recall since its been a while since I've been there) Sean O'Callahaan's, Baileys, or Biergarten. Currently I'm leaning towards Mally's or Sean's, both have Guinness, however Sean's has Strongbow on tap, however, slightly more pricy. I'll post tomorrow with exact location and relative time. If you find yourself inclined, come have a beer.
