Yet another ski trip has ended, and all things considered it was a pretty good trip. First good thing I got to spend time with Lydia (yay) and my friends that I don't often see. Second good thing, at no point did I spin out, total a vehicle, or get stuck in a ditch, which has been a current trend over the past few years. Got to ski some Saturday, although it was cut short due to a couple of not-so-spectacular falls landing on my shoulder. So I spent the rest of the day at the bar, Go Me! Saturday evening we went to a restaurant in town where I proceeded to drink Tequila that was previously filtered through a dead chicken. Yep thats right, a dead chicken. Why you ask? Cuz I wanted to know what tequila filtered through a dead chicken tasted like. Anywho, sunday was the drive home, and it was slow going. I have a fear of small cars in less than perfect conditions and the fear was apparent Sunday. So to Summarize:
Thursday-Got to Boyne, partied
Friday-Got a late start in the day, Partied some that night
Saturday-Skied, got a massage, drank tequila filtered through a dead chicken, partied not so much
Sunday-Drove home in fear
In retrospect I would have liked to have partied more Saturday, but not so much with the people who were in the party room.
NEW NEWS:
So, I am now officially on Day 2 of the OT Weight loss Challenge (That's Theta Tau without using Greek letters.) I have to say I'm getting hungry more often than I 'd like to, and I am eating about every 2-3 hours (6 times a day.) Also after being off for 1 week I'm back in the gym. Weigh in day was kinda funny, because weigh in required you stand on a scale in your boxers/boxer briefs/tighty whitey's/thong to get your weight and body fat% (BIA scale), and then get photographed by Kevin's wife. Surprisingly, my original weight was only 201 lbs, and BF was 27%. Not horrible, second lowest actually but still overweight. When measuring my biceps, just for fun, I got an exclamation from Kevin's wife, "Wow Keith, Nice Pipes!" So apparently my biceps though small are well developed. Anyway I guess most of my excess body fat is centered around mid section so I need to try and reduce there the most. I know you can't spot reduce, but there's gotten be something to help it a little. Any ideas?
