Ok, here's a series of events that have never ever made sense to me, please tell me if any of these are rational to you. I'm not going to State the outcome, because you can probably figure that out for yourself

1. Wait until Sunday to go to the Auto Show. Make Hot Toddies to hold you over until then.
2. Depends on which you knew about first, and how close you are to your friends sister. I'm assuming since there was a double booking, you planned the camping trip before you knew about the wedding, which also means that you weren't close enough to the bride to know the wedding date early enough to not schedule the camping trip. So, if it is so that you knew about the camping trip before you knew about the wedding, you say, "Sorry, but I'll be out of town that day." Interjecting a 4 hour round trip to go to the wedding of someone you're not close to defeats the purpose of camping in the first place, so doing both would suck.
3. Again, this is like the situation above. If you weren't close enough to know about the wedding, which are planned sometimes years in advance, then you're not close enough to not go to a concert because they're getting hitched. I'm sure they'll have pictures. Go to the concert.
4. Your question isn't very clear. So I'll make my own story to try to relate.
Susie is dating Bobby, who is friends with Joe. Susie's birthday party is Saturday. Bobby had plans for a guys night with two other guys on Saturday. Joe wants to go to the guys night but can only go on Saturday because he works every Sunday.
Now, which event, Susie's or Bobby's, is the one that would be rescheduled? Is Joe, the other friend, supposed to go to Bobby's or Susie's thing? And what does this have to do with complaining about how much money you're spending? That's where I get confused.
