[ She leans over, bracing her hands on her knees, and grins at him. ] If I hadn't known any better, I would have thought something was really wrong! You're a good actor, Oswald.

[ She shakes her head. ] Well ... you missed a New Feather cycle, and this big experiment last week that brought all sorts of different worlds into Luceti! I'm kind of sad you missed it... I would have really liked to show you around all those different worlds!

[He does look genuinely disappointed that he missed that, yes. It sounds pretty ideal.] Different worlds? Really? How'd all that fit in the barrier?

Well ... eventually the Malnosso explained that it all happened because the Battledome broke. So I guess it was all holograms or something that came from there! So you could walk into one little room and it'd seem as big as a city! ... it was kind of hard to find stuff, actually.

There were monsters, too. All sorts of monsters, from every world! That part wasn't so fun.

[He missed this? Arrgh, he can't believe he missed this. He could've gone to Disney World for a bit! His luck must've run out for a bit, or something. ... Then again, with monsters on the loose, maybe it was lucky he was gone for this.]

All kinds of monsters! There were Heartless and lesser Nobodies from my world, and I heard about ghosts and demons and things like that, and, well, all sorts of stuff! [ She stands up straight and spreads her arms in an expansive gesture. ] It was lucky no one was badly hurt.

[Wow, that's big enough for some of the largest Blotlings. Or Beetleworx, even! The nasty, pirate kind.]

Yeah, no kiddin'! It's no good havin' monsters in here. Monsters have a tendency to disrupt the peace and wreck stuff.

Yeah... so it was kind of a mixed bag, I guess. [ She moves her hands, palms up, in a balancing motion, like scales. ] So there was some good, some bad. But the good part is that the Battledome can now recreate all of that stuff! At least, that's what that Malnosso girl said. You don't have to fight enemies in there anymore... you can just go and see worlds!

R-really? So I can just go and visit Earth? The Earth I know, I mean. And Disney World? And... [Wasteland before disaster hit...?]

Yeah! I think you can visit anywhere you want. [ She grins at him. ] Though... if you go, would you mind if I came with you? I'd love to see these places too!

... though, um ... Oswald ... is it really okay that you're dripping like that? [ Her smile turns a little crooked. He's talking like he's okay, so she's really not too worried, but ... it's really weird to watch. ]

[Oswald is just very flattered she's asking. It's so nice to have people caring about him.]

Paint?! [ WHAT. ] You're made of... is that because you're a, um, cartoon character? [ Still not a concept she really understands, but it's possible, right...? ]
