Oh, uh... [He scratches the back of his head thoughtfully. Of course, because both his hands are busy holding the poster, he has no choice but to use one of his ears for that.]

You know what? You can help me put the poster up on the wall. All these houses and apartments were designed for humans, so a shortie like me'd have to get up on a desk or somethin'.

[He heaves the poster up from the ground again, holding it close to his body. Then he points into the direction of Community Building #6 with his right ear.]

That big condo place over there. I got myself an apartment up on the eighth floor. [He looks pretty proud about that. Honestly it's because he's got a great view of the village from up there. So he'll start leading the way now, carefully hobbling towards the building.]

[He's certainly going to try to carry the poster up there. Then he may very well fail miserably and end up accidentally riding the poster down the stairs like a tobbogan.]

Yeah, isn't it great? I love views. Back in Wasteland, I had the best view from the Dark Beauty Castle towers. You could see all the way to the Gremlin Village. [He pauses for a moment, apparently considering something.] Mickeyjunk Mountain's view was pretty messed up, though.

Wasteland? Is that your home? That's kind of a sad name for a world... what was it like? And what made Mickeyjunk Mountain's view, um, messed up?

[His face falls, but he'll explain anyway.] Wasteland's... Well, it's not really my home. It's where cartoon characters go when they're forgotten by people. I was the very first to be sent there, along with Ortensia and my kids. So we made it like a home and whenever new characters arrived, we'd welcome 'm with open arms. We built all sorts of stuff to make people comfortable. I ruled over the place as its king for a pretty long time, but...

[His ears droop even lower and he stops walking, staring at the ground.] The Thinner Disaster messed everything up. Lots of the land was washed away and it left gaping holes. Nearly everything lost its color. If ya go all the way up to Mickeyjunk Mountain, the most you can see nowadays are dark clouds. [And that's not even mentioning the Shadow Blot.]

... I'm so sorry. [ cartoon characters -- the concept doesn't make a lot of sense to her, but it's one she'll roll with. ] It sounds like it was a nice place... before. There's no way of setting things right?

[He shakes his head lightly, his ears swaying from side to side.] I dunno. I don't think so... I mean, what was erased with thinner can be fixed with paint, but you'd need lots and lots of paint to fix all of Wasteland. Not even the Mouse's brush can do that much.

[He sighs loudly, before he starts walking towards the community building again.] And 'sides, with the Shadow Blot still out there, there's no point in tryin' to fix things. He'd just wreck it all again.
