Okay, drawings. Everyone knows drawings. Imagine a couple of drawings of the same rabbit. Same pose and everything, so they're almost identical, but in each drawing, his ear's flicked at a slightly different angle. If you take the drawings and flick through them really quickly, it's like the rabbit's ear is actually moving.

That's the basic concept of a cartoon; Telling amazing stories with animation. [...] Of course, you can't do anything with just the drawings. First you need to transfer it to a real medium, like... a projector or a television. Anything that'll play the animation without you having to flip the drawings yourself, ya know?

Well, it's what came after projector screens. I wasn't around when they became a big hit, but I've seen 'm in Wasteland. They're like little boxes, right? And they show things on it. Like cartoons. I mean, it'll look like tiny people are inside the box, but it's actually filled with all sorts of dohickeys and devices that can display images.
