Boker Tov,
Whew. Lotsa stuff goin' on. Yup. Lots.
I've had a very enjoyable (not to mention long-awaited and much-deserved) weekend with Michelle. We spent most of our time relaxing and cuddling, which we've both missed out on for six weeks prior to my visit. Michelle also made me tremendously delicious chicken marinara pasta, pork stir fry, and a Swiss cheese-mushroom-and-onion omelet. It's times like these I'm glad I hooked up with a woman whose parents are both professional-level cooks. Yum.
We also went to see Stardust last night. It was very good, and it warmed the cockles of Michelle's romantic heart (in other words, it totally put her in the mood). So, Stardust ftw.
Aside from this weekend, my life is otherwise going pretty damn well. School's going well (for once), and I'm enjoying my classes. I'm also starting to look more intently for a job. If anyone has any decent leads, let me know. Still, I remain confident that I'll find something. Hopefully, it'll be better than Target. I can't imagine how it wouldn't be.
Lastly, my writing has kicked off again very smoothly. Some meteor-sized inspiration fell into my lap early this morning, and I used that meteor to carve a statue in the shape of pure AWESOME. If things continue to go as well as they have, then I'll be a very happy camper. NO BEARS IN THIS FOREST, BITCH!
Well, I'm off to go do some more writing.
Shalom,
J
