Some incredible news
I have some news. It's sad and yet... Not. At the same time.
I came home from school today and Shima-san was waiting with a message for me. Dad left in the middle of the day so I figured it had to do with that.
It did. Grandmother died this morning. It's sad because she's died at the age of 85, but it's not sad because Dad said that she never said in her will that my deal with her holds over, nor did she say that I wasn't to be the heir of the Suou company.
Which, Dad says, means that I get to see Maman any time I want, and my future is set. I don't have to worry about anything anymore.
I mean, I'm allowed my mother now, I've got a job for after I graduate, and I'm about to marry the love of my life. I couldn't ask for anything else. I don't need anything else!
I'm incredibly happy. I don't think I could be any happier, despite that Grandmother died today, and that she did explicitly say that I was not allowed at her funeral. Oh well.
