I'm updating. I'm really enjoying this year. It may turn out to be the best year of high school. Maybe it's just because it hasn't really started yet, but it doesn't seem as bad as it has been. Maybe it's because I'll be leaving next year?

I can't wait for football season to start. I really like going to the games. You guys should totally come see the band.

I turn eighteen in about a month. *gasp* I can't believe that. It's like I'm growing up.

Even though I decided to update cause it's been like two weeks, I don't really have anything exciting to say.

Today a new Bob Dylan CD came out. And a new The Roots CD. I made my birthday wish list. I really need to narrow it down. I've got twentry four CDs on there. I'll have to work on that. And I think I shall do this thing from Christina, to at least be interesting:
A song that wakes you up in the morning. "We Float" by PJ Harvey
A song with a title that ends in y or n. "In Search of Peter Pan" by Kate Bush
A song that makes you crave something. "That's What I Like Mick (The Sandwich Song)" by Tori Amos
A song that reminds you of a fandom OTP. I got nothin'...
You have been caught mouthing the lyrics to this song. Today it was "Music Is My Hot Hot Sex" by Cansei de Ser Sexy
A song that will always make you think of a movie. "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel
A song that should totally have fic written about it. ...again, got nothin'
A song you dance to when you're alone. Pssh, what don't I dance around to? Madonna, Kylie, Cansei de Ser Sexy, LCD Soundsystem, you name it.
A song you completely misunderstood the first time you heard it. When I first heard "Tangled Up In Blue" by Bob Dylan, I just thought it was like a regular love songs or whatever. Now I think it's either about these two people who are immortal (or who have at least been alive for a very long time) and keep falling in love but leaving each other, or about two people who are reincarnated and each time they're born they end up falling in love.
A song you only like half of the time. "London Bridge" by Fergie. I don't want to like it, it's a terrible song. But damnit it's catchy. It doesn't even mean anything.
A song for being the hero. "Ken" by Kate Bush
A song for drinking the last glass of wine. "i i e e e" by Tori Amos
A song for grand and/or ridiculous romantic gestures. "Into My Arms" by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
A song for confessing your unrequited love. "Strange And Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You)" by Aqualung
A song for dancing the night away. Right now, I'll say "Let's Make Love And Listen To Death From Above" by Cansei de Ser Sexy
