(no subject)
Hello there people, an update on my most uninteresting life!. It's been a dull summer, although i did go back to uni for a week to do the exams i missed due to the pasta-related injury(see below). Haven't really seen much of anyone, although last week we did go to see Snakes on a Plane- it was unintentionally hilarious, and much comedy did ensue. I've had a few jobs over the summer, including being an exam invigilator for a travel company (don't ask why) but mostly its been me sitting here mouldering.
Still, only 2 weeks to go before i leave to go back to Aber- i realised how much i missed the place when i went back for the exam week- it's not the same here in Nottingham anymore, i've come to realise. I think Naomi's wedding party helped show the contrast- many of my friends have moved on, and have other interests. Such is life, the world turns while i remain the same.
Joe hasn't been around, electing to go back to Lampeter early as he feels at home there, and i can't blame him for that- Lampeter's a great place to visit, and i can see the attraction of living there.
I'm supposed to be doing a journal article for the History Society (i'm its academic secretary, apparently- poor fools!) but i'm so apathetic here in Nottingham- even in Aber i get things done eventually, but here nothing moves. Its the uncertainty of everything here, it's disorientating. Time to go back, i think.
