So it's about time I got around to doing this entry since Bloom probably comes across as batshit or something because nobody can read your mind self
Some of you might have noticed somewhere between teenofkulelna and Bloom, he went from being terrified of anything even slightly related to sex (and therefore puberty) to being...Bloom.
He has mentioned in his fits of not-agreeing-with-Dawn's-orientation-choice that all gay men capture young boys or something, and Blossom has mentioned something along those lines before.
When Blossom first showed up, he'd been captured by the man in question, at the time he had long hair and looked kind of androgynous. He was actively called out as some kind of demon 'girl' and that is why Bloom generally refuses to have long hair. The man did not sleep with him, but there was forced oral involved and at the time Blossom knew nothing about much at all, so he assumed anything slightly related from boners to what came out of them was a horrible thing. This man was also his first, purposeful, blood thirsty murder. Thanks to this guy, Bloom assumes that all gay men, until proven otherwise, are freaks who pray on children, try to look like girls and get off on it etc. etc. etc.
Somewhere in the seven years between Blossom and Bloom he realised that it was the guy that was bad, not the feeling or sex itself, and at probably age...17? he turned and ended up actively sleeping around.
I've said it before, but Bloom is kind of fortunate that he hasn't caught anything, but that kind of behaviour means he's knocked up a fair share of women in his time and probably has a fair amount of kids that he doesn't realise he has. There's every chance that they're picked up his freak white hair* gene, but I like to think if he had a kid with Riu it would be normal and that the albino gene and Bloom's 'demon' genes would be recessive. Riu balances him out, to the point he's actively thought about the idea of settling down and having a kid a-and how much he'd be okay with that if he could stay in the DR forever. Egypt is another story, but here? He'd be okay with that. He doesn't think he'd be a good father either.
Because of this guy, Bloom will not rape a woman, however him being him he doesn't quite know when 'no' means 'no' and he'll take any, any positive sign as a sign forward. Some women just yell 'DAMEEEEEEEE' during sex anyway...right? He can also be a bit impatient with virgins or anything that takes effort, as Dawn has nearly suffered from once or twice.
He has a lot of weird things going on in his head, he sleeps with Dawn out of 'respect', he respects him as a person and therefore he'll sleep with him and looking like a girl has nothing to do with it rly, but he doesn't really hold back when he says that he doesn't respect him as a man or agree with his life choices. He doesn't think that Dawn secretly has a kid tied up in the closet but...yeah.
If a guy looks androgynous, however hypocritical that makes him, the chances of gayness occurring tends to be highly elevated, and he'll always top unless a plot says otherwise.
When genderswapped the first time, it was pretty much decided that offscreen handjobs happened between Riu and Bloom, but Bloom wouldn't have let even her put her fingers anywhere near inside of him and he punched Yahtzee for it this time around. He assumes that any kind of bottoming ever, even if in the case of Yahtzee it could have been totally neutral - he could have even topped in the process, is a sign of weakness and he does not want in the slightest. This stigma also comes from the guy, but also partially from just...how women work.
