So lets share a nice little dirty secret of OWBN.

There is a click of folks who made a private LJ community to bitch about and mock people in the org.

This community consist of Coords ST's and Council members as well as a few players.

Normally its just flame the person who is making there life difficult today.

They have created it with one little rule in mind, whats said in the community is never repeated sorta light fight club style.

Today though we break from the norm.

One of the members post that since its been a week since Norigins and no one got sick he can now share his funny story as listed bellow. I broke there precious rule today and since they want to get pissed off and make comments like lynching and the likes welcome to the pain of public debate.

I let it slip to a parent who's ex was at the event in a conversation this afternoon at lunch. You know what though this is info people have a right to know.

Okay, so it has been a week since Origins, and I have not heard any stories about anyone getting sick. So...this story can now officaly be funny.

The week before Origins, I went and visited my family as they all gathered in Tampa at my sister's new house. The day I got back, I suddenly became very sick --shivering, feaver, congestion, aches -- I felt like ass, but semi-functional. However, I had a busy as all hell week at work in front of me and my boss was on vacation, so I had to go. I was isloated in my office, so I figured I wouldn't get anyoen else sick.

I loaded up on drugs, went to work, and velt even more like ass the next day. I got a doctor's visit finaly fit in AM on Wednesday, so I took a break from work and got checked out. A quick test later....I had the flu. Well, it could be worse I thought to myself. It seemd fairly mild by flu standards. I got a script for Tamiflu (the most expenseive drug ever) and it worked. Thursday I felt imporved, and by Friday when I went to take off for Origins I felt close to 100%.

So i go to Origins, and have a good time. I feel drained, but otherwise good. No problems. Then Sunday, I get a phone call. It's my doctor...calling me on a Sunday afternoon. This is never good.

He asks how I was feeling, and I replied that I was fine. He told me that was good...then informed me that they sent my positive flu test to the lab and that it came back positive for H1N1. I had the swine flu.

The doctor informed me that, since it was a week after I got symptoms, that I didn't need to do anything special. He told me the CDC had to be finormed that I had swine flu, and then asked me the following question:

"Oh, you stayed isolated this week, right? You didn't interact with anyone over the past seven days?"

I thought for a moment about the hundreds of people I just interacted with from all over the country.

"Oh, no doctor, of course not. Not at all."

I hung up the phone. Dale, who listend to the enitre conversation, asked if he could walk home. I informed him we were in West Virginia. He didn't seem to care.
