Yo

Starting to ge back in the swing of things on the VI. Thats good. Theres a lot to read, but instead of burning myself out again on all those old threads, I think I'll just try to jump into new ones and let other people fill me in. It may seem self centered, and possibly even pompus of me, but I'd rather enjoy my time there instead of it seeming like work. So nyah.

Lets see what else is up. Oh, I might have failed my PT test. That wasnt really the surprise. The surprise to me was /how/ i failed it. I've never had a problem with my situps before, and today for the first time ever, they let me down. I needed 50 to pass. I know I got 49, but I'm not sure if that last one I did got counted. However, my runnning continues to improve and amaze me. I went from the start of basic training, where I couldnt even complete the two mile run, to doing sort of well on it. Today was a new personal record and I'm very pleased with it. Especially since apparently the air here makes it difficult to run... I didnt have a problem though seeing as I was running fairly decently in sub degree weather with pnuemonia at Fort Sill. But I scored a 14:30, so once again I reitterate, NYAH!

While your version of RO sounds cool, Jon. I've too many friends on iRO, so I think I'm gonna stick with that one. However, if you still have the iRO on your comp, would you consider making a temp account and leeching a merchent for me? Im gonna try to make a forge smith, and well you of all people should know how well that goes as far as leveling...

I missed Mardi Gras apparently. I dont say apparently because I dont care or any sentiment like that. I merely forgot not only about the holiday, but even that it occured around this time of year. To put it mildly, I've been rather busy. But thats neither here nor there. Sorry! Perhaps next year, if Im able to, I'll come. But I mean this with upmost sincerity when I say, I doubt it. Just one of those things that goes with the job I suppose.

What else? It seems that Im in a rare talkative mood tonight. I renewed my hatred of doctors today. Well, dentists in particular, but theyre all doctors in one form or another. After only 3 shots of novicane this time, they did a filling. I say only three because the last time I was in a dentist chair, they had to use 5 and I could still feel the drill. I was apprehensive to say the least. I still have to go back in a few weeks to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Theres talk of having to break my jaw to remove it. I am not pleased. I think I'd like to give them an ultimatum on the whole affair. That being if they can break my jaw without me breaking them, then I wont have a problem with it. I doubt theyll agree to my terms though. Something about UCMJ action... Bah, cowards.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering why Im not calling anyone right now, theres two reasons. One: My mouth hurts like hell as it is, and Im trying not to agitate it. And two: the reception in my room is so godawful that half the call is spent repeating what was last said to the other party and vice versa. Im just going to wait until I phase up and then I'll be able to have it with me in areas with much better signal strength.

So for now I guess most of you will just have to keep writing me. Or email me. But post is so much more fascinating. It gives me a chance to keep up with my penmanship and requires that a good deal of thought be put into it. Here, while you /can/ put thought into something, usually in ones haste they dismiss the thought and you end up with huge rants like these, or just a jumble of words with barely any cohesion. Which is why it irked me so much when I found out that Jon's letters werent reaching me. Anyway...

Here's my new address. Packages are allowed here by the way. ^^ (wink wink, nudge nudge) Just no people. They sort of frown on sending people in packages. Oh, and no weapons, Jon. For some inane reason, they discourage personal armaments. I think theyre just scared of what I can do with a proper bo staff or spear... Ah yes, almost forgot the purpose of this paragraph...

Alright, I suppose I must say fare thee well for now. Much to do and so very litte time to prepare for it. Goodbye for now, friends.

ps: And in case you're wondering about why I wrote this way, its quite simple. I just finished reading 'The Count of Monte Cristo'. I like the movie better by the way, Jon. NNNNNYYYYYAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
