our adventure on fuji-san

the last 24 hours is going to be the most memorable 24 hours of my life.

megan and i climbed a very tough mount fuji and then, OH YES, we dropped the boyfriend, girlfriend label and became fiances.

fresh and ready to take on mount fuji!


about half way up the mountain - a shrine was located at the 7th summit


very close to the top - lack of oxygen, cold and fatigue are taking over our bodies


we have reached the top of mount fuji and the world - just in time to watch the sunrise






the volcano mountain's crater - simply amazing


my surprise for megan - i told her that i saw an odd rock on the volcanic stone


she looked a little closer


then she turned around and with my cold and trembling hands i put the ring on her finger (of course, after she said yes)


tired, sketchy and dirty - but can still enjoy a bowl of canadian blueberries we bought before our climb




simply and amazing day of accomplishments, which will forever remain engraved into my memory
