Reno was taken back by the purse and the odd image that projected from it. He was stopped dead in his tracks once the thing turned on and it was only when the familiar voice stung at his ears, did he grin again.
"I would guess so, but fucking warn me next time you decide have something surprise me like that. Jesus, why can't people just stick with a PHS or a cellphone these days."
The red head paused to casually run a finger across one of his scars.
Reno suddenly turned pale and his usual grin faded.
"You want to know about Shinra Incorporated? You do know that it is long gone and it will never come back, right?"
Shoving his hand into his pockets, the ex-Turk narrowed his glowing aqua-marine eyes.
"Shinra Incorporated controlled the planet where I come from. They ruled the electricity business, the weapons business and the research and developement business. They also had power over the space missions, but those were cut early in the game to focus more on the electric power business." He paused to grab a cigarette from his pocket. Then, without a word, he lit it with a zippo lighter and inhaled deeply on it.
"They researched mako and how to find the Promised Land. However, everything back fired, and Shinra fell along with Midgar.
The beast known as WEAPON took down the second leader of the company, a one Rufus Shinra and that was when everything truly went to shit. Rufus was out of commission and Meteor was coming right for us."
