Damn man... your stuff looks awesome. Keep up with the updates!

Seems like Harper Collins is easy to work with... I wish all the publishers I worked with were easy to work with.

they're pretty easy to work with although the preliminary work is pretty insane.

i think its the fact i have a week before both covers are due and they're still asking for sketches and touch ups.

The last kids book I worked on was ALL done and at the last minute they wanted me to change the ethnicity of the main character and my head about exploded...

I wish you the best of luck with this.... I'd LOVE to read these books!

How'd you hook up with Harper Collins?

the art director of the childrens department just emailed me and offered the gig. apparently he found my site through another artists link. pretty much destiny i suppose.

I hook up with a lot of my gigs same as you.

I'll get a random email from a guy that knows a guy that knows me... it's weird.

I've done illustration/kids books stuff for Fisher Price, Scholastic, Barefoot Books, TokyoPop, Picture Window books, Capstone press, Stonearch books, ABDO publishing, Graphic Planet... and some stuff I can't talk about yet.

I've recently done a TON of textile/clothing design stuff for Target, Pottery Barn Kids, Land of Nod, JC Pennys, Babies R US, Sears and Kohls.

I've never had an agent do ANYTHING for me and I've only gotten one gig by sending in a sample packet.

It's all about who you know, I guess.
