One more year!!!
Christmas next year will mark a very special occassion...Lord of the Rings: Return of the King!! I'm in a LotR mood tonight as I've been burning demos (in between computer crashes) and watching The Fellowship of the Ring special features DVD. The Two Towers was awesome and I hope I can survive one more year (old people like to wreck into my car, it's inevitable that I die in a car crash) to see The Return of the King.
Today was pretty decent. Woke up at 7:30 to go in to work late at 9 and leave at 1. Picked Lori up on time, got to work on time, we got some extra time given to us at break, and pretty much spent the day talking more than working cuz nobody wanted to be there. I got home and my mom handed me the phone. Rick called and asked if I wanted to go out to lunch with him, Mary, and the kids as part of my Christmas present. I headed out and met up with them at Ruby Tuesday for a while and of course laughed my ass off the whole time as only Rick can do to me. When I got home I promptly crashed and took a 2 hour nap, in which time Eric came and grabbed 10 more demos to pass out to his family today. I got up and restrung the guitars and sat around bs'ing online until midnight when I opened my gifts and what-not. For the past couple hours I've been just burning more and more demos, as Geo's been doing as well because we only had like 30 or so left.
That was about all I did. The weather turned crappy and apparently it's icy as hell out. I put my car in the garage as to not wake up to a block of red ice in the driveway, and almost fell on my ass in the process. Bleh. I don't mind a white Christmas, but a Christmas that's frozen solid is annoying. Hope my girl gets home okay...
Off to burn more demos and head to bed eventually. Get to hang out with the family tomorrow. Yay. Note the lack of enthusiasm. :) They don't bother me too awful much really, just certain ones. I'll probably end up hanging out with my cousin Chris and trying to avoid my cousin Mark at all costs. Lataz!
