--Debate thoughts: Joe Biden is a gangsta and I wish HE were the Presidential nominee. Why do people think that Sarah Palin was anything besides a complete disaster in that debate? It's like they're afraid to say she came off as totally overwhelmed and out of her league, like we can't be mean to her. I liked the Presidential debate a lot.
--I just keep liking Jay-Z more and more. I'm surprised my enjoyment hasn't plateaued yet. I sell ice in the winter, I sell fire in hell.
--I am a much better friend to some people than others.
--I'm playing fantasy football again and commissioning a fantasy basketball league. Football team is strong, especially at RB (Gore, Addai, Forte). My football team is named TO's Popcorn Chef and my basketball team is named Starbury Shortcake.
--I think I made a new friend today.
--Alyson is really good at cooking delicious meals. I am good at eating them.
--On the list of political issues I care about, abortion is about 30th. Here are several things which I care about more than a candidate's position on abortion: their race, their gender, how likely they are to legalize online gambling.
--I'm on a rec soccer team called Potential Exposure. Also, my first game of fall league Ultimate is next weekend. I need to buy some long-sleeved athletic shirts to prepare for the cold weather.
--I'm gonna vote for Obama. I was undecided for a while, but I have been moving farther and farther into the Obama camp over the past two months or so. I still think Hillary Clinton would be a better President.
--I don't like tattoos, but a backwards cursive tattoo of a single word is pretty neat.
--I really miss poker.
--Cubs fans are incredibly obnoxious, so I usually root against the Cubs. But in some ways I want them to win just so the fans will shut up about how uniquely tortured they all are. The same thing kind of applied to the Red Sox.
--I have tickets to the Final Four.
--I miss Friday Night Lights too.
--The Game album Doctor's Advocate is really good, so don't sleep on it. It has an early-90s West Coast gangsta sound, but is still very fresh. It also stands up over time.
--Life has its downs, but it's awesome.
--Chris Rock still has his fastball.
